This is why I don't stamp as much as I would like to:
This is my kitchen table after a couple hours of stamping. I just made a few cards and the time it took me to drag this stuff out and put it back up I could have made a few more cards. And then I end up going back to my bedroom about 18 times to get something else I forgot. It is so frustrating.

LOL - Yep, I have the same problem :D
I know what you mean. I tried "digital" scrapping for a bit...(no mess!) but it's so fun to use real paper and ink! Wish there was a magic genie that can come and clean up for me!
