I made these cute (and inexpensive) altered binder clips. All I did was use the 2.5 inch binder clips from Office Depot and cut a strip of paper to cover the bottom. Then I embellished them and tied a ribbon around the top. 
"Now what on earth on you going to use these for?" you ask. I have seen several people use them as place cards but I am going to give them to use as picture holders, like this.
